Back and Better Than Ever

        The Johnson Tennis team bounced back form their state tournament loss to Summit, with a 5-0 sweep over conference foe Gov. Livingston. Bad weather was predicted, but it held off for Johnson to complete the match. the win featured the 59th career wins for Mike Klimchak and Chintan Patel, and a three set win by the second doubles team of Victor Broccoli and Bill Weslosky.

The Results:

(1st singles) Mike Klimchak (W) 6-1, 6-1 

(2nd singles) Mike Monagle (W) 6-4, 6-4

(3rd singles) Joe Tkac (W) 6-2, 6-1

(1st doubles) Devin Felter/ Chintan Patel (W)- 6-1, 6-1

(2nd doubles) Victor Broccoli/ Bill Weslosky (W)- 6-2, 4-6, 6-2

The team is a perfect 6-0 in the conference this season, and is 13-2 overall. The team will be tested with a 4 game schedule next week, all conference matches.
