Johnson Drops Semi to Summit

        In a rain shortened North Jersey, Section 2, Group 2, semi-final playoff match ,the Johnson tennis team saw their 10 game win streak, and their hopes of winning the state championship come to an end, in a 3-0 loss to #1 seeded Summit.

The Results:

(1st singles) Mike Klimchak DNF (3-6)

(2nd singles) Mike Monagle DNF (2-6, 4-2)

(3rd singles) Joe Tkac (L)

(1st doubles) Devin Felter/ Chintan Patel (L)- 1-6, 0-6

(2nd doubles) Victor Broccoli/ Bill Weslosky (L)- 1-6, 1-6

The team drops to 12-2 on the season, and will resume their quest to three-peat the MVC Conference, beginnig with Friday's conference match with GL.
