JOHNSON GOES TO 8-1
The Johnson Crusaders continued their roll through the spring vacation, with a 4-1 victory over North Plainfield on Thursday afternoon. With Johnson shorthanded in their lineup, Bill Weslosky, on his off day, played 1st doubles with Chintan Patel, and Dan Camporeale played in his first varsity match.
The Results:
(1st singles) Mike Klimchak (W)- 6-1, 6-1
(2nd singles) Mike Monagle (W)- 6-0, 6-0
(3rd singles) Joe Tkac (W)- 6-0, 6-1
(1st doubles) Bill Weslosky/ Chintan Patel (W)- 6-4, 6-1
(2nd doubles) Craig D'Amico/ Dan Camporeale (L)- 0-6, 5-7
The team is now 8-1 on the year, (still 4-0 in their half of the MVC) and have won six straight matches. The team will close out the week with a conference home match, tomorrow, at the JTC against Immaculata.
