JOHNSON KEEPS ROLLING
In their first game of the spring vacation, the ALJ Boys Tennis Team won their fifth straight match, 4-1 over Union Catholic. The match featured the 50th career win of both Mike Klimchak and Chintan Patel's high school tennis careers.
The Results:
(1st singles) Mike Klimchak (W)- 6-0, 6-0
(2nd singles) Mike Monagle (W)- 6-2,6-1
(3rd singles) Joe Tkac (L)- 4-6, 3-6
(1st doubles) Devin Felter/ Chintan Patel (W)- 6-2, 6-1
(2nd doubles) Victor Broccoli/ Bill Weslosky (W)- 6-0, 6-0
The team is now 7-1 on the season, and will have a off day on Wednesday, before playing at North Plainfield on Thursday.
